WLC College India (WLCI) pioneered the Traineeship Programme in India. Through our WLCI Traineeship programme, we provide an opportunity to our students to work with reputed companies, while they are still pursuing their management programme at WLCI.

Keeping this in mind, WLCI’s Traineeship Programme offers you a chance to work with WLCI Partner organization from the very beginning of your Professional Level Programme.
The traineeship programme offered by WLC College starts from the beginning of course opted by the student. As a trainee, student will work part time and will also be paid a substantial stipend during the course.
During traineeship period, students are constantly guided and mentored by WLCI trainers and industry professionals. In this way, it ensures that our students emerge as seasoned professionals and are ready to meet the challenges of corporate world.
The WLCI Traineeship Programme empowers our students for a head start in their career and secure their placement at the end of their programme. This unique traineeship advantage has been widely accepted by leading national and multinationals across all segments of business world.
Our tie-ups with over 400 companies ensures that all the students studying at WLC College are provided traineeships alongside the course. We have a dedicated Corporate Services (CS) Team, which continuously works with employers towards the following:
- Contracts: Firstly, the WLCI CS team interacts with key employers in each city to figure out their need. After having identified this, our team signs contracts with organizations for employment of our students. These contracts define the following:
- Stipend paid alongside the course (varies from 5,000 INR to 25,000 INR).
- No of hours of work per week (typically 36 hours per week)
- Leaves during examination etc
- Assessment of the student at the workplace (every 90 days)
- Absorption as a full time employee on successful completion of the course and satisfactory work performance.
- Interviews: Once the contract is finalized, thereafter the WLCI CS team organizes interviews for the students. Students are provided freedom to choose the organization as well. This freedom might subject to availability of positions depending on local availability and market conditions. The WLCI CS team keeps regular contact with employers to collect feedback from their side and conveys it to students to help them improving their performance level.
- Assistance: Once selected, the WLCI CS team then assists the students in settling down and adjusting with corporate culture. The WLCI CS team informs students about various requirements of employer and put in its efforts to streamline the entire process. The WLCI CS team also helps our students in removing difficulties, which they face during first few weeks of their traineeship.
Undoubtedly, the traineeship programme of WLC College India provides students a head-start in their careers and an opportunity to earn upto 50% of the course fee while still studying.
